Wazobia was a language created in the 1960's in an attempt to merge the three major languages in the country and create one common tongue. Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba languages only and tagged it "WAZOBIA", meaning: "Wa" (come) in Yoruba language; "Zo" (come) in the Hausa language; and, "Bia" which also meant (come) in Igbo language respectively.
